Welcome to ThreadSaga. These Terms and Conditions outline the rules and regulations for the use of ThreadSaga’s website and services. By accessing this website, we assume you accept these terms and conditions. If you do not agree to all the terms and conditions of this agreement, then you may not access the website or use any services. If these Terms of Service are considered an offer, acceptance is expressly limited to these Terms of Service.

Our store is hosted on Shopify Inc. They provide us with the online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

1. General

  • Acceptance of Terms: By using our website and services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these terms and conditions.
  • Changes to Terms: ThreadSaga reserves the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on the website. Your continued use of the website constitutes your acceptance of any such changes.

2. Use of the Website:  

  • Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years old to use our website and make purchases. By using our website, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

You may not use our products for any illegal or unauthorized purpose nor may you, in the use of the Service, violate any laws in your jurisdiction (including but not limited to copyright laws).
You must not transmit any worms or viruses or any code of a destructive nature.
A breach or violation of any of the Terms will result in an immediate termination of your Services.

 

  • Account: When you create an account with us, you must provide accurate and complete information. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and password and for restricting access to your computer.

3. Purchases

  • Order Acceptance: All orders placed through our website are subject to acceptance by ThreadSaga. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for any reason.

  • Pricing and Payment: All prices are listed in the relevant currency and are inclusive of applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment must be made in full before dispatch of goods.

    Prices for our products are subject to change without notice.
    We reserve the right at any time to modify or discontinue the Service (or any part or content thereof) without notice at any time.
    We shall not be liable to you or to any third-party for any modification, price change, suspension or discontinuance of the Service.

  • Shipping: Shipping costs and delivery times will be specified at checkout. ThreadSaga is not responsible for delays caused by the shipping carrier.

4. Exchange and Returns

Please note that since our products are handwoven, we mostly have one of each kind at a time. Also, as the fabrics are pure and the weaves delicate, each garment requires very careful handling. Hence, we can offer returns or exchanges only in extreme circumstances.

Returns

  1. Returns will only be accepted in the case of a manufacturing defect or dispatch of incorrect item.
  2. Your return request should be sent by email to contact@threadsaga.com within 48 hours of receiving your shipment. Requests sent after 48 hours of delivery of parcel will not be eligible for returns.
  3. If you receive your order in a parcel and packaging that appears to have been tampered with, damaged or is in an unsealed condition, you are advised not to accept such a parcel and do notopen the package.   4. In the unlikely event that your merchandise arrived damaged, you need to email us a photo of the damaged packaging along with the return request as per step 3. 
  5. Upon receipt of your request, we shall examine the same and send you an authorization of return/exchange within 5 working days.
    Upon receipt of the authorization, the product must be couriered back in original packing to Thread Saga at the below mentioned address within 5 days.
  6. The product being returned/exchanged must be in its original unused condition and sent along with original bill and tags intact.
  7. We aim to process all returns within 7 working days.
  8. Kindly note that the shall be refund in the form of store credits only. Please note Shipping Charges shall not be refunded unless a damaged/wrong product is sent by us. We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, we will immediately notify you and offer you store credits in the form of a voucher. The unique voucher can used against future purchases at Thread Saga anytime.

Exchanges

  1. You may exchange your order within 7 days of receiving your item.
To be eligible for an exchange, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags, and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
PLEASE NOTE WE EITHER EXCHANGE THE SIZE OR ISSUE STORE CREDITS ONLY.
  1. The fastest way to ensure you get what you want is to return the item you have, and once the return is accepted, make a separate purchase for the new item. Once the goods reach us, we shall dispatch the exchanged product. Please note we exchange any product only ONCE and exchanged products shall not be exchanged again.
  2. You will be responsible for any applicable customs and duties for both the returned shipment and the items we ship in exchange. (Please note that incoming shipments into India from overseas can attract very high custom duty charges. Those will need to be borne by the customer in case of an exchange.) To and fro shipping charges will be applicable in case of overseas shipments.

5. Intellectual Property

  • Ownership: All content on the ThreadSaga website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of ThreadSaga and is protected by international copyright and trademark laws.
  • Use License: Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of the materials on ThreadSaga’s website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license, you may not:
    • Modify or copy the materials;
    • Use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
    • Attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on ThreadSaga’s website;
    • Remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or
    • Transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server.

6. Limitation of Liability

  • Disclaimer: The materials on ThreadSaga’s website are provided "as is". ThreadSaga makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.

  • Limitation: In no event shall ThreadSaga or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on ThreadSaga’s website, even if ThreadSaga or a ThreadSaga authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage.

7. Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Odisha, India, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in that location.
